A day on the water has to be felt, not described. The film needed to carry the light, the sea and the people on the boat, and then work again in a vertical frame for social.

Rise Up Expedition: one day on the water, from first light to the reef

The main Rise Up Expedition film — a day on the water in Belize, from a sunset departure to the reef — alongside the shorter vertical edits made from the same days for the feed.

We filmed on the boat, in the water and from the air — sunset on the horizon, hands in the sea, the first look through a snorkel mask, a stingray over the sand, the boat from directly above — and cut it as one continuous day. Vertical edits were then made for the feed.

Cut it as one continuous day. From a sunset departure to the reef, the film follows the order of the day so a viewer arrives where a guest would. Film from the boat, the water and the air. Hands in the sea, the first look through a snorkel mask, a stingray over the sand, the boat from above. Each angle shows a different part of the day. Make vertical edits from the same days. Short vertical cuts were made for the feed, so one shoot serves the main film and the channels people actually scroll.

Delivered: Main brand film; On-boat, underwater and aerial filming; Vertical short-form edits for social.
